The 2023–24 Sacramento State Hornets men's basketball team represents California State University, Sacramento in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They are led by second-year head coach David Patrick and play their home games at the Hornets Nest as members of the Big Sky Conference.

Previous season

The Hornets finished the season 14–18, 7–11 in conference play to finish in sixth place. In the Big Sky tournament, the Hornets lost their quarterfinals game against Weber State to end their season.
