The 2024 Men's T20 World Cup qualification was the process by which teams qualified for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.[1] A series of regional qualification tournaments determined the teams which will take part in the tournament, this format of qualification was newly introduced in November 2021.[2][3]
In total, 81 countries took part in the regional qualification process, from which eight teams qualified for the T20 World Cup. Regional tournaments were held between July 2022 and November 2023—Europe qualifier (32 teams), EAP qualifier (9 teams), Americas qualifier (6 teams), Asia qualifier (15 teams) and Africa qualifier (19 teams).
Qualified teams

Eight teams that finished in the top 8 in 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup qualified directly, while the next two teams that automatically qualified were the best ranked teams in ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings that did not qualify through previous World Cup.[4]
In July 2023, Ireland and Scotland from the Europe Qualifier became the first two teams to qualify, followed by Papua New Guinea from the East Asia-Pacific Qualifier.[5][6] Canada secured their berth in October 2023 after defeating Bermuda in the final match of the Americas Qualifier.[7] In November, Nepal and Oman qualified via the Asia Qualifier,[8] followed by Namibia and Uganda becoming the final two teams to qualify after ensuring a top-two finish in the Africa Qualifier.[9][10]
