The Archdeacon of Hackney is a senior Anglican priest serving the diocese of London,[1] responsible for disciplinary and pastoral supervision of the clergy[2] within its three area deaneries: Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets.[3]

Created from the archdeaconry of London by Order-in-Council on 2 March 1951, at its erection the archdeaconry comprised the rural deaneries of Bethnal Green, of Hackney and Stoke Newington, of Islington, of Poplar and of Stepney.[4]
