Birra Kaon (transl. Kaon Beer) is a beer company, founded in Tiranë, Albania in 1995.
A proprietary of T.E.A Company, it is the fourth-largest beer producer in the country.
It was established as a microbrewery, but with the tireless dedication of our workers and a strong desire, we grow even further. Since that extended period until today, we are among the pioneers in the market for beer production in the country... and we are very proud of this.
The idea for establishing Kaon mainly came from our strong desire to introduce a 100% Albanian product to the market, based on heritage values and passion.
The name 'Kaon' comes from the Kaon tribe, who had a tradition of crafting beer in an artisanal way by fermenting barley and honey. At the moment, we have 4 types of beers in the market.
