Brooklands is an area and electoral ward of Manchester, England.[2] It is represented in Westminster by Mike Kane, MP for Wythenshawe and Sale East. The 2011 Census recorded a population of 14,362.[1]

On 26 July 2023 Julia Baker Smith resigned her seat in Brooklands following rumours that she was living in on the Isle of Wight, 200 miles (320 km) away from her ward.[6] A by-election was held on 7 September 2023.[7]
