Bu'ale (Somali: Bu'aale Arabic: بالي) is an agricultural town in Southern Somalia, the capital of the Middle Juba region and the Capital city of the Jubaland State of Somalia. The district and town are primarily dominated by the Marehan clan.
History
Bu'ale was made the capital city for the Jubaland State of Somalia on 2 April 2013.[1]
Since 2014 the town, along with Jilib and Jamame is under the control of militant Islamic extremist group Al-Shabaab.[2]
