Crevedia is a commune in Dâmbovița County, Muntenia, Romania with a population of 6,617 people. It is composed of five villages: Cocani, Crevedia, Dârza, Mănăstirea and Samurcași.
The commune mayor's illegal liquefied petroleum gas business was the cause of a series of explosions in August 2023 resulting in six deaths and numerous injured including firefighters that were responding to the blaze that caused the explosion.
