Helical plc (formerly Helical Bar plc) is a property investment and development company. Helical is based in London and a constituent of the FTSE SmallCap Index.[2]
History
The Helical Bar and Engineering Company Limited was incorporated as a limited company on 3 July 1919.[3] The company sold its steel reinforcement business in 1986.[4]
In July 2016, the company name was changed to Helical plc.[5] In April 2018, the company entered into an agreement with Transport for London to act as developer for an over-station development over the eastern ticket hall at Farringdon station.[6]
Operations
The Group is active in London and owns a portfolio with total value of £840 million as at 31 March 2023.[1]
