On 18 May 2023, Fremantle India announced that there will be a tenth season of India's Got Talent with the same cast returning except Manoj Muntashir.
Season overview
The taglines for the seasons returned once again. The tagline for the tenth season was "Vijayi Vishwa Hunar Hamara".[3]
This year, shooting took place at Filmistan Studio. The show was again hosted by Arjun Bijlani. Once again this year, the judging panel changed following Manoj Muntashir's removal from the season after ill-received comments made on the Adipurush movie, for which he wrote the dialogues. Kirron Kher, Badshah and Shilpa Shetty Kundra reprised their role as judges.[4][5]
During the last 2 days of the auditions Kirron Kher was absent from the sets. On the last day, she was replaced by Anupam Kher for an episode. During this season, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had been absent for multiple episodes owing to her film promotion and other unrevealed reasons.
The format for this season largely remained the same as of the previous season. Top 14 quarter-finalists1 compete in a weekly competition, eliminating one contestant per week. From the bottom-most contestants from public vote, judges give an anonymous verdict for whom they want to save. Results for each quarter-final are announced in the next quarter-final after all the performances.
Golden Buzzer Summary
Golden buzzer returned for its sixth series. Host was once again allowed to use the golden buzzer after season 8. Golden Buzzer acts straight away went to Top 14 Quarter-finals.
In quarter-finals, golden buzzer was used to highly appreciate an act, although it had no effect on the result of the performer except in quarter-final 7 where it saved a contestant from the elimination round.
