Rezaul Karim Reza (Bengali: রেজাউল করিম রেজা; born 1 July 1987)[1] is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Bangladesh Premier League club Abahani Limited Dhaka. He played for the Bangladesh national team between 2010 and 2021.[2][3][4] Due to his versatility, he can also play as a left back.[5][6]
In July 2016, he was appointed as the national team's captain. He led Bangladesh during a friendly against UAE and also during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC second round fixture against Jordan.[7][8][9][10]
