The name Ferdie has been used for three tropical cyclones in the Philippines by PAGASA in the Western Pacific Ocean. It replaced the name Frank after it devastated the country in 2008.

- Typhoon Meranti (2016) (T1614, 16W, Ferdie) - one of the most intese tropical cyclones on record, impacting the Batanes in the Philippines, Taiwan as well as Fujian Province.
- Tropical Storm Mekkhala (2020) (T2006, 07W, Ferdie) - a severe tropical storm that affected China, causing 1.1 billion yuan (US$159 million) in damage.
