The Visakha Express is a daily express train owned by Indian Railways connecting Secunderabad (SC) to Bhubaneswar (BBS). It was widely popularized by the 2008 Telugu movie of the same name. The train's numbers are 17015 and 17016. It is part of the South Central Railway zone. Train number 17016 leaves Secunderabad at 4:50 PM and arrives at Bhubaneswar the next day at 3:25 PM. Train number 17015 leaves Bhubaneswar at 08:45 AM and arrives at Secunderabad the next day at 07:30 AM.

The train runs from Secunderabad via Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikudi, Piduguralla, Sattenapalle Guntur Junction, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikaluru, Akividu, Bhimavaram Town, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Elamanchili, Anakapalle, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Simhachalam, Kothavalasa, Vizianagaram, Eheepurupalli, Ponduru, Srikakulam Road, Tilaru, Kotabommali, Naupada, Palasa, Sompeta, Ichchapuram, Brahmapur, Chhatrapur, Balugaon, Nirakarpur, and Khurda Road to Bhubaneswar.

The train is hauled by Lallaguda-based WAP-7 locomotive from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam as the route is completely electrified. From Visakhapatnam a Visakhapatnam-based WAP-4/WAP-7 locomotive powers the train till Bhubaneswar and vice versa.
