Friendlies
For their pre-season tour, Everton announced they would be playing six teams away from home, which were ATV Irdning, Bury, Lille, Porto, Blackburn Rovers and Rennes. They also played one game at home against Valencia.[50] Everton hosted Gor Mahia at Goodison Park.

In the FA Cup, Everton entered the competition in the third round and were drawn home to Lincoln City.[53] The fourth round draw was made live on BBC by Robbie Keane and Carl Ikeme from Wolverhampton on 7 January 2019.[54]
