The 2024 United States Virgin Islands Republican presidential caucuses will be held on February 8, 2024,[1] as part of the Republican Party primaries for the 2024 presidential election. Four delegates to the 2024 Republican National Convention will be allocated on a selection basis.[2] The caucus will use ranked choice voting.[3]

Procedure

If a candidate receives a majority of the territorial vote, that candidate receives all the delegates. Otherwise, delegates are proportionally allocated to candidates based on the territorial vote.

The U.S. Virgin Islands was stripped of half of its delegates for scheduling its caucus before March 1.[4]

Former President Donald Trump,[5] former South Carolina Governor and Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley,[6] former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson,[7] businessman Vivek Ramaswamy,[8] Florida Governor Ron DeSantis,[9] and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie,[10] have all announced their candidacies for president.
