The Afghanistan cricket team are scheduled to tour Sri Lanka in February 2024.[1][2] The tour will consist of one Test, three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.[3] In November 2023, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced its international calendar for 2024 and confirmed the bilateral series.[4]

This will be the first Test match played between the two sides.[5] The T20I series will form part of both teams' preparation for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.[6] In January 2024, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) confirmed the fixtures for the tour.[7]
