Ameerega altamazonica is a small species of poison dart frog that lives in central Peru described in 2008.[1][2] It can be found at an elevation of 150โ865 m.[1]
Females with average size of 18โ24.5 mm are slightly larger than males that measure on average 17.4โ22.9 mm (a sign of sexual dimorphism).[2]
