Demeioun "Chop" Robinson (born January 2, 2003) is an American football defensive end. He played college football at Maryland and Penn State, receiving first-team All-Big Ten honors with the latter in 2023.
Early life
Robinson has been nicknamed "Pork-chop", later shortened to Chop, since birth.[1] He attended Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was selected to play in the 2020 Under Armour All-American Game. He committed to the University of Maryland, College Park to play college football.[2]
College career
Maryland
As a true freshman at Maryland in 2021, Robinson played in all 13 games with one start and had 19 tackles and two sacks.[3][4]
Penn State
After the season, Robinson transferred to Penn State University.[5][6] In his first season, he played in 12 games and had 26 tackles and 5.5 sacks. He declared for the 2024 NFL Draft following the 2023 season.[7]
