Edgar Stangeland (born 22 July 1945) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Norway.[1]
Speedway career
Stangeland is a former champion of Norway, winning the Norwegian Individual Speedway Championship in 1976[2] [3] and he earned ten caps for the Norway national speedway team.[4]
He was also a two times finalist at the Individual Speedway Long Track World Championship in 1974 and 1976.[5]
He rode in the top tier of British Speedway from 1970 until 1979, riding for various clubs.[6]
