Ekuona is one of the eight major Akan clans.[1]

The totem of the Ekuona people is the buffalo.

The major towns of the Ekuona include Adansi Berekum, Asokore Mampong Duayaw Nkwanta Asokore, Kokofu Asamang, Afare,Pekyi,Berekum etc.[2]
