Harborough, Oadby and Wigston is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, enacted by the Parliamentary Constituencies Order 2023,[2] it will first be contested at the next general election.
Boundaries
The constituency will be composed of the following (as they existed on 1st December 2020):
- The District of Harborough wards of Glen; Kibworths; Lubenham; Market Harborough – Great Bowden & Arden; Market Harborough – Little Bowden; Market Harborough – Logan; Market Harborough – Welland.
- The Borough of Oadby and Wigston.[2]
It succeeds the (to be abolished) constituency of Harborough, with only minor changes to reflect ward boundary changes and bring the electorate within the permitted range.
