Kamel Soufi (Arabic: كمال سوفي; born 5 June 1996) is an Algerian professional footballer[1][2][3] who plays as a goalkeeper for USM Alger in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.[4]
Career
In 2021, Soufi signed a contract with MC Oran.[5]
On August 1, 2023, Kamel Soufi will be the first recruit of the usmist formation and signed a contract for two seasons with USM Alger, the departure of Mohamed Lamine Zemmamouche forced the leaders of the club to recruit a third goalkeeper.[6][7][8] His first title came with the opening of the season by winning the CAF Super Cup against Al Ahly.[9][10] On October 14, 2023, Soufi participated in his first match in Ligue 1 against USM Khenchela, which led him to victory and the first clean sheet for him.
