Karawala Airport (ICAO: MNKW) is an airstrip serving the village of Karawala in the South Caribbean Coast Autonomous Region of Nicaragua. The airstrip is 6 kilometres (4 mi) inland from the Caribbean coast.
The Bluefields VOR-DME (Ident: BLU) is located 57.2 nautical miles (106 km) south of the airstrip.[2]
