- ↑ Sigma Kappa Psi chapter was originally the Kappa chapter of national Sigma Omega Psi. It was forced by the university to become a local, taking on the name of Sigma Kappa Psi in 1930. 31 years later, in 1961, Northeastern once again permitted national fraternities. Alumni and actives petitioned to join Alpha Epsilon Pi that year, becoming the Sigma Kappa Psi chapter of the fraternity. The chapter's original small national, Sigma Omega Psi itself had merged into ΑΕΠ in 1940.
