The paddlenose chimaera or paddlenose spookfish (Rhinochimaera africana) is a species of fish in the family Rhinochimaeridae found near China, Japan, Mozambique, South Africa, and Taiwan. Its natural habitat is open seas. It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]
