Šalovci (pronounced [ˈʃaːlɔu̯tsi];[2] Hungarian: Sal[3]) is a village in the Prekmurje region in northeastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Šalovci. The writer Mihály Bakos was born in the village.[4]
