The 1969 St. Louis mayoral election was held on 1 April 1969 in order to elect the mayor of St. Louis, Missouri. It saw the re-election of incumbent Democratic mayor Alfonso Cervantes over his Republican rival Gerald "Jerry" Fischer.

General election

On election day, 1 April 1969, Democratic nominee Alfonso Cervantes won re-election by a margin of 22,988 votes against his opponent Republican nominee Gerald Fisher, thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of Mayor of St. Louis. Cervantes was sworn in for his second term on 15 April 1969.[1]
