Liga IV Olt

The 2019–20 Liga IV Olt was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Olt, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 24 August 2019[1] and was ended officially on 16 July 2020, after it was suspended since 9 March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Petrolul Potcoava was crowned as county champion.[2]

Other changes

  • Vedița Colonești was merged with Atletic Bradu. Vedița took the place of Atletic in the third tier.[6]
  • Recolta Stoicănești was spared from relegation.

  1. ↑ Minerul Costești performed COVID-19 tests that were not approved by Romanian Football Federation and lost by forfeit the match against Petrolul Potcoava.[7]
  2. ↑ As the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Teleorman County champion, Unirea Țigănești withdrew from the 2020–21 Liga III promotion play-off, due to the medical expenses needed to comply with the medical protocol.[8]
