Pre-season and friendlies

On 17 May, Barrow announced their first two pre-season friendlies, against Holker Old Boys and Oldham Athletic.[23] In June, the club confirmed further friendlies, against FC United of Manchester, AFC Fylde, Blackpool and Newcastle United U21.[24] On 12 June, the club announced a final pre-season friendly, against Preston North End.
