The 2024 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship is scheduled to be the 94th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship is scheduled to run from 23 March to June 2024.
Clare wil be the defending champions.[1]
Format change
On 30 September 2023, Special Congress voted to make some structural changes to the All-Ireland series, resulting in the creation of two new rounds of games. The preliminary quarter-finals will be played between the third and fourth-placed teams in Munster and Leinster, with the two teams from each province playing each other. The winners of those games advance to the All-Ireland quarter-finals against the beaten Munster and Leinster finalists. That draw will be subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings where possible. The Munster and Leinster champions progress straight into the All-Ireland semi-finals.[2][3]
