27712 Pacific Coast Highway is a house in Malibu, California designed by the architect Tadao Ando. It was built in for the art collectors Maria and Bill Bell, Jr.

The house is located on a 6-acre plot on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California.[1] It was commissioned in 1999 and took 15 years to be completed.[2] It was built by Peter McCoy.[1] The house is 40,000 sq ft.[1] 7,645 cubic yards of concrete were used in the construction of the house.[3] The house is L-shaped and was described by Jack Flemming of The Los Angeles Times as having "vast, open spaces marked by concrete hallways and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass".[3] The house has a large swimming pool and cabana with lawns extending over its site on a cliff top overlooking the Pacific Ocean.[3]

The property was sold for $14.5 million to the art collectors Maria and Bill Bell, Jr. in 2003 who commissioned the modernist architect Tadao Ando to build the new house.[1] The house was bought in May 2023 by the musicians Beyoncé and Jay-Z for $200 million, establishing a new record for the most expensive residence sold in California.[1] The previous record had been established by the house next door to 27712 Pacific Coast Highway, which was bought by businessman Marc Andreessen for $177 million in 2021.[1]
