The wingspan is 45–50 mm (1.8–2.0 in) for males and 49–53 mm (1.9–2.1 in) for females. Adults are on wing year round, with a peak from September to April.[3]

The larvae feed on Laportea peduncularis, Pouzolzia mixta and Obetia tenax.
