Ahmed Usman Ododo (born 7 February 1982)[1] is a Nigerian accountant and politician who is the governor-elect of Kogi State. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress.[2][3][4]
Before being elected governor, he served as the auditor-general for local governments in Kogi State, overseeing the financial audit of local government councils in the state.[5]
Education and early career
Ododo studied Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and got his PhD from the University of Lagos. He was appointed financial secretary for local government by Governor Yahaya Bello.[6]
