Aki-Nakano Station (安芸中野駅, Aki-Nakano-eki) is a passenger railway station located in Aki-ku in the city of Hiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West).[1]

Aki-Nakano Station is served by the JR West Sanyō Main Line, and is located 294.4 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Kobe.

Station layout

The station consists of one side platform and one island platform. The station building is adjacent to the side platform and is connected to the island platform by a footbridge. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.

History

Aki-Nakano Station opened as a signal stop on 13 July 1913 and was elevated to a full station on 15 August 1920.
