Aphae Jeong clan (Korean: 압해 정씨; Hanja: 押海 丁氏) is a Korean clan. Their Bon-gwan is in Sinan County, South Jeolla, South Jeolla Province. Their founder was Jeong Deok-seong. He worked as a grand chancellor (Chinese: 大丞相; pinyin: dà chéngxiàng) and became Prince of Tanghe. However, he was banished to South Jeolla Province in 853 and was naturalized in Silla because he admonished Emperor Xuānzong of Tang about military.[1][2]
