Barsukynė ('badger place', formerly Russian: Барсукини, Polish: Barsukinia)[1] is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village was uninhabited.[2] It is located 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) from Lipliūnai, in the midst of the Josvainiai Forest, nearby the Smilga river. There is no road or electricity in the village. A game butchery is next to the village.
