Buhingu is an administrative ward in Uvinza District of Kigoma Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 1,673 km2 (646 sq mi),[2] and has an average elevation of 901 m (2,956 ft).[3] In 2016 the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics report there were 18,682 people in the ward, from 16,973 in 2012.[1]:127[4]:151
