The Cadillac Optiq is a battery electric compact luxury crossover SUV to be sold under the Cadillac subdivision of American automobile manufacturer General Motors and produced by SAIC-GM, a joint venture between the Chinese manufacturer Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) and General Motors. It will sold in China beginning in late 2023 and in North America in 2024.[1]
Overview
The Cadillac Optiq is slated to go on sale during the second half of 2023, and will later be sold in North America in 2024.[2] It will be available in two trims that have an output of 150 kW and 180 kW respectively.[1] The car is intended to be a lower priced entry-level EV for the brand.[3]
