Carlos Ramón González Merchán (born November 11, 1958) is a Colombian politician and activist from 1991 to 1994, he represented the department of Santander as a member of the Chamber of Representatives. Later from 2019 to 2023, he served as Co-president of the Green Alliance Party, a position he held alongside Antonio Navarro Wolf and Antanas Mockus. Since April 26, he has served as Director of the Administrative Department of the Presidency of the Republic, the agency in charge of staffing the office of the President of Colombia.[4][5]
