Chaf Rural District (Persian: دهستان چاف)[3] is in the Central District of Langarud County, Gilan province, Iran.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 9,834 in 2,917 households.[5] There were 6,961 inhabitants in 2,389 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,395 in 904 households. The largest of its six villages was Sadat Mahalleh, with 821 people.[2]
