Champion is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in central Chase County, Nebraska, United States. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 103.[3] It has a post office with the ZIP code 69023.[4]
History
Champion was named for Champion S. Chase, a Nebraska politician.[5]
Geography
Champion lies in the valley of Frenchman Creek, a tributary of the Republican River, near the Champion Mill Park, 7 miles (11 km) southwest of the city of Imperial, the county seat of Chase County.[6]
