Chandu Champion is an upcoming Hindi language sports drama film written and directed by Kabir Khan. It is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role alongside Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani and Adonis Kapsalis in supporting roles.

Chandu Champion is scheduled for theatrical release on 14 June 2024.[1]

Development

Kabir Khan first announced the film in July 2022.[2] The film was officially announced with a motion poster on 4 July 2023 by Sajid Nadiadwala, to be directed by Kabir Khan and starring Kartik Aaryan. The title was originally slated to be Chandu Champion.[3][4]

Casting

Kartik Aaryan was chosen to play the lead, in his 2nd collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala after the success of Satyaprem Ki Katha.[5]

Filming

Principal photography commenced on 12 July 2023 with a muhuratam puja held in London. The first schedule was held the same location.[6] The second schedule commenced on 24 September 2023 in Kashmir.[7]

Release

The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on 14 June 2024.[1]
