Clonkill GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Clonkill, County Westmeath, Ireland. The club is exclusively concerned with hurling and camogie. The club competes in Westmeath GAA competitions.
Clonkill is a townsland in the Taughmon/Turin Parish of Westmeath.
The name "Clonkill" is translated from the Irish "Cluain Cille". Cluain meaning meadow and Cill/Cille meaning Church. This translates literally to Church in the Meadow as depicted in our Club crest.

Clonkill GAA comprises Clonkill Hurling Club and Clonkill Camogie Club and is located adjacent to Loughegar National School (8km from Mullingar town). Along with Clonkill Hurling & Camogie Clubs it also accommodates The Loughegar Badmenton Club, Clonkill Handball Club, The Loughegar Community Group, The Local Women's Group and Playground Group.
The grounds currently includes an impressive floodlight playing field, grassed training area, floodlight Astro training area, Clubhouse / Community Centre, walking track and children's playground. This caters for all members, visiting clubs, the local national school and the wider local community.
The current and permanent grounds was purchased and developed in 1988 and was ready for hurling and camogie in 1990. Prior to this grounds were leased from local farmers to play the game and the locations of these temporary grounds changed from time to time. The original clubhouse was completed in 1996 and a new Clubhouse / Community Centre was constructed and completed in 2013 adjacent to the existing building. This new Clubhouse / Community Centre is an impressive building and along with the existing building, the club now houses, function rooms, dressing Rooms, gym, tea & coffee shop during games, and a sports hall that can accommodate indoor hurling, football, soccer, rollerblade hockey, handball, badminton, social gatherings and functions to name but a few.

- A hardback publication, "From Tenant's Pasture to Croke Park, A History of Clonkill GAA 1917-2017" was produced by Club members and published by Topic Newspapers Ltd. Mullingar and is available from Clonkill GAA by contacting any Committee member. This publication of 315 pages extensively outlines the Club's history from its founding along with the local history of the surrounding areas and its people.
