Cloudy Rhodes is an Australian photographer and filmmaker.[1] Their short film, Lo Loves You played along with the American film First Girl I Loved in Australia in 2017.[2] Both films explored LGBT issues. Rhodes has directed a music video for Sonic Youth.[3] The video uses Australian landscape as a backdrop for homoerotic imagery.[3] Their photography has drawn attention from major magazines.[4] They are a photographer for Teen Vogue.[5] Rhodes has been profiled for their surfing.[6][4]

Personal life

Rhodes was born in Palm Beach, Florida, to parents who were both painters,[7] and grew up in Sydney, Australia.[4] Their brother is also a filmmaker.[7] Rhodes is openly lesbian.[8][9]
