Dacian or Dacianus was the prefect of Gaul under Diocletian and Maximian[1] and acted in Hispania Tarraconensis or Hispania Carthaginensis at about the same time.[2] He caused the martyrdom of, amongst others, Saint Faith,[3] Caprasius of Agen,[1] Vincent of Saragossa[2] and Eulalia of Barcelona.[4]
