Daniel Behrens (born March 11, 1983), better known by his stage name Danimal Cannon, is an American video game composer[1] and chiptune music performer.[2] He is most known for combining guitar playing with Game Boy music. He is also known for his presentations on chipmusic, having hosted panels at Penny Arcade Expo,[3] YouTube tutorials, a TEDx Talk,[4] and a Game Boy masterclass workshop at Blip Festival 2012.[5]

His album releases have been licensed for several games, including 8BitMMO,[6] Wave Wave,[7] and Just Shapes & Beats.

Video game remixes

Danimal Cannon honed his production skills and knowledge of old video game consoles by remixing video game music.[8] His work has been featured on sites like OverClocked ReMix and Dwelling of Duels. He also performs remixes of video game music with his other bands Armcannon and Metroid Metal.[9]
