Career

Prior to becoming CEO of Newsweek, Pragad managed it's international edition from London in 2014.[6]

Following a probe of the parent company IBT Media by the Manhattan district attorney in 2018, Newsweek was spun off into a standalone company Newsweek Publishing LLC with Pragad and Johnathan Davis each owning 50% of that company. All litigation between shareholders and Newsweek was settled in June 2023.[7][8][9]

Pragad launched the industry-leading Newsweek Rankings, which has become the fastest-growing part of the business.[13] The rankings include the coveted World’s Best Hospitals, Auto Disruptor Awards, and numerous corporate and employer rankings.[14]
