Devki is a 2001 Indian Marathi-language film directed by Milind Ukey.[1] Produced by Mayur Shah and Naushir Mistry. The film stars Alka Kubal, Shilpa Tulaskar, Sudhir Joshi, Milind Gawali, Girish Oak, Abhiram Bhadkamkar in lead roles. It was released on 10 December 2001.[2]
Plot
Vasudha Paranjape (Alka Kubal) and Pranav Paranjape (Girish Oak) had a child named Rohan (Anurag Worlikar) but Sujata Paranjape (Shilpa Tulaskar), being sister-in-laws, faced a challenge when Sujata, unable to have children, was urged by Vasudha to adopt her son, Rohan. However, their neighbor Bharti (Preeti Koppikar) sowed seeds of doubt in Sujata's mind, causing turmoil in the once harmonious family. Amidst chaos, the families chose to separate, disrupting the joyous atmosphere that once prevailed. In the midst of it all, Rohan discovers his adoption and decides to leave the house.
