Disguised is an esports organization founded in 2022 by Canadian Streamer personality Disguised Toast.[1] The organization currently has teams competing in Valorant and League Of Legends. Their Valorant division has been relatively unsuccessful in the VCT Challengers League.[2][3]

History

On December 19, 2022 Internet personality Jeremy Wang, known as Disguised Toast, announced a Valorant team named 'Disguised'.[4][5] The team included members of the knights Valorant team, with the addition of two players: Steel of 100 Thieves and Clear, a rookie player. The team was coached by Ocean. The full roster was announced on January 9, 2023.[6]

On January 13, 2023 'Disguised' had won the Open Qualifier event in their latest match against Oxygen Esports and joined the Challengers League: North America[7]

On March 8, 2023 it was reported that the organization would be starting another Valorant team for the Game Changers Open Qualifier, with a roster that would be likely to consist of unsigned players.[8]

On March 28, 2023 the organization announced the 'Game Changers' Valorant team.[9] The membership of the team consisted of popular female Valorant Twitch streamers, with Ruin announced as the coach.[10] After failing to qualify for the main event, Wang jokingly 'dropped' the team—in reality, the members never had a monetary contract with 'Disguised' and the announcement was a parody of other esports teams' unceremonious firing of their players after poor game performance.[11]

On April 10, 2023 Disguised Toast, announced the signing of 'yay',[12] who has been considered as one of the best Valorant player In the world by many as he have won masters at one point, he also had won Best Esports Athlete of the year from thegameawards![13]

On June 2, 2023 Disguised has announced the creation of a League Of Legends team, which will be competing in the NACL league.[14]

On June 10, 2023 Disguised has released his entire Valorant roster after they went on an 11-game losing streak and getting relegated from the VCT Challengers league.[15]

On August 10, 2023 Disguised has won their first competition, they Became 2023 NACL Champions.[16] On August 31, 2023 Disguised had released the same winning team, Disguised said that they would stay in the NACL league for the 2024 Season.[17]

On August 22, 2023 Disguised Had announced their new Apex Legends team who would compete in the Global Series Championship.[18]

Valorant

On September 19, 2022, Disguised announced the creation of a Valorant team, signing three players from the former Knights core (XXiF, Exalt and Genghsta), Steel former T1 and 100T player, Clear and the coach OCEAN.

League Of Legends

On June 2, 2023, Disguised announced the creation of a League Of Legends team. they compete in the North America Challengers League. The team won the summer 2023 North American Challenger League.

Apex Legends

On August 22, 2023, Disguised announced the creation of a Apex Legends team. They competed in the Global Series Championship.
