Dobiran (Persian: دبيران, also Romanized as Dabiran and Dobīrān ; also known as Dowbarān, Dowborān, Dabīrān, Doborān, Dooban, Dowbān, and Dūborān)[3] is a city in the Central District of Zarrin Dasht County, Fars province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Dobiran Rural District.
At the 2006 census, its population was 9,897 in 2,119 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 12,682 people in 3,188 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 13,809 people in 3,685 households.[2]
