Ester Valerie Noronha is an Indian actress, singer. Known for her work in Telugu, Kannada and Konkani film and entertainment industries for more than a decade, Noronha has won the Best Actress Award for her Konkani film Sophiya - A Dream Girl, Best Performance Award for Telugu Webseries Recce and Best Supporting Actress Award for her Kannada movie Lanke. Noronha has worked in more than 35 films in around 7 languages including Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tulu, Konkani, Telugu and Tamil till date. Her works include Bhimavaram Bullodu, Shakeela, Lanke, Sophiya, Recce.
Background
Ester Noronha was born to Valerian Noronha and Janet Noronha in Bahrain.
She debuted on the Konkani stage as "Baby Ester" at the age of 8.
Career
Noronha debuted in a non- commercial Bollywood film "Baromas". The film went on to be played and nominated in various film festivals around the World including the 2012 South Asian International Film Festival in New York and the DCIFF (DC Independent Film Festival) in Washington, DC.
She was then cast by the director Teja in his Telugu movie 1000 Abaddalu in 2013. Noronha was immediately signed for Bhimavaram Bullodu opposite Hero Sunil.
She has since worked in around 35 films in 7 Indian languages
Personal life
Noronha married Indian singer and Rapper Noel Sean in January 2019.[1]
